Also ive been busy finishing winter projects for all the spring swapmeets and shows. Planning out a new chopper project (ill post some pics once I have something to post, it is right now just a drawing), and also endlessly sanding frames for painting. But yeah it really is kinda slow right now......

(25+ Posts) Posts: 329 (04/22/11 16:09:45) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	was a torker with 750 dp and functional ram air , now a holley strip dom with either the 750 or a 910 cfm T-quad depending on how i feel, also have a bunch of 71 340 carbs that i'm playing with for a future 427" 340 with a stock intake and logs for a F.A.S.T. type build. I'm having trouble with the career change. I know I'm lucky I have a job. Once I get use to mid nights I should be able to get some of my bike projects done. Ed

I have posted many posts on here that just dropped off the page too. They can't all be winners. Then I post more a few days later and its a hit. Timing is everything. Lately I have been into Huffy Rails again so I post about them, but I have to say out of over 800 members there is usually only 2-3 responses. So it has nothing to do with being a Huffy, Schwinn or whatever... It also has little to do with what country your in. Hell I never knew where you were from until a few weeks ago. I think some of the non USA members have a chip on your shoulder so anytime the slightest thing is said some just stomp off like they are 2 years old! This is the attitude that has taken down other forums in the past. People get their feelings hurt and stop posting their bikes and parts. Maybe if you posted your bikes there would be more than Huffy's on here. Personally, I wish people would stop sitting back and expecting everyone else to do all the work while they watch! I am tired of posting stuff and hearing crickets. This is why I have started adding to my website instead of here.

(25+ Posts) Posts: 214 (02/20/12 19:49:01) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	I agree with Ron there - sometimes I've posted and thought, due to no replies, that the forum is a little cliquey, but then i post with lots of hits, so just post away and keep readign as well, as Ron also said, this is how some of us get off - I know it inspires me immensly. Also, not sure about others, but I LOVE import and unusual bikes, so post some pics, get us talking .

I use Firefox and always have good luck but when I do have problems it is usually clear my catch and cookies, and a restart of the computer and its fine after. Could be as simple as a setting. If your using a link in favorites that works for me usually.

Trying to get my buildoff bike started but I can't get the top fuel fork off the frame. Can't get a torch that works. They work great in the store then as soon as I get home they don't want to work. Driving me crazy. Other than that I've been spending time working with my snakes. It's breeding season for the boas. The North American snakes are about to wake up from their winter break. Also been buying stuff at goodwill outlet stores to resell on ebay. Been doing pretty good finding designer sunglasses, handbags, shoes. etc. Seems like the only people spending money are women. Plus if I invest in anything I am interested in like bikes, coins, guns, etc. I don't want to sell them. But if I invest in girlie stuff like prada, gucci, chanel, etc. I don't care anything about these things so it is easy to flip them on ebay. And when you only pay $.69/ pound you can't go wrong.
