Ok so here goes for my build for March Madness! Also this is my first time participating in a build off, so I am really not sure what to expect from this, but really I just plan to have some fun with it.
I have a really cool vision but will have to see what it turns into in the building phase. It may turn out cool or may go down in history as a freakbike...
At this point is to take a bike and base it on a car from Fast and Furious. That's right, low, fast and underglow! I have wanted to try this for a while and have some LED strips I bought for experimentation. Now I know what to do with them :)
Slowly gathering some parts into the ol milk crate. I think the frame is settled with a rescued and twice repainted (before I got it) Sears bike. I have a really cool rat trap springer, a 90 degree bent sissy bar, mufflers, and the rest needs to be figured out. I think I am going to base the look loosely on the Nisan Skyline GT-R from the movie, but that may change.
Later I will post a few pics of the bike before, and some of the parts, but the whole dang thing might change even before I start building. I also plan to use what I have on hand and not buy anything new for this bike (yeah right)
