Dreams do come through. |

I loved cars when i was a kid, I fell in love at first site when i saw a mustang, i believe a fastback, drift across the screen in dirt. I think i was 7 then. Fast forward to 19 in 2004 when my muscle car passion was stronger and the dream of owning a cool fastback was at its peak. sadly at that time, even now, I couldn't afford one, and thats when bikes came in to the mix. I love the schwinn krates because they reminded me of a muscle car, but those damn things were pricey too. I've got one now so no more dreaming, and man that feeling is good. A 71 orange krate, missing seat and cables right now, everything else i just didnt put on yet. This is the first build I fell like i really did something, Im really proud of myself with this bike. Chrome was good so i just polished everything and had my friend paint her. ![]() ![]() This is what I started with. ![]() ![]() |

If you need brakes, cables, stik shift , overload tube, and a derailleur I have them on E-bay now. They came off a 1971 Pea Picker 5 speed and the cables are NOS(correct) Dave T |
