Anyone have pictures of one of these circa 1975-76? My brother got a black one of these for his 8th birthday February 1976. This one is a 79 (by the tag under the seat) he found it on craigs and would like to make it look like his original one. Someone painted every thing on this bike black. The fenders on this bike are purple under the black respray. My brothers bike had fenders but he can't remember if they were white or black thet were definetly not purple. The bike also has the wrong cranks, originals have been replaced with 10 speed cranks and the pedals are wrong. Also not sure if it had a chainguard or not. Thanks

Also there is a grease fitting on the crank tube, is this correct or was it added? You can see it just behind the sprocket in picture 2. |

I have seen them with grey fenders, blue fenders, green fenders, and red fenders. Had one with blue fenders myself. There is a pic of one here on the sight somewhere. Try doing a search. Kenny.

I agree with apollo nut. These bikes aren't worth a lot of money and the parts are hard to come by. You're better off buying a more complete and correct bike. Trying to put one together by buying parts will cost you more than the bike is worth.
