Looks good, is that a 1970?
I have been really digging the Tiger Cat lately with the Yellow/Red color scheme. I don't think they made a bad color on them. I even like the Turd Green Coaster Swinger. ![]()

Hey you go Steve, I have only seen one other bike like this (JM outbid me on it way back!) I really like the Devil spitting fire. I have seen so many different designs on Mark ll guards over the years and I would love to meet the guy or gal that worked for Murray that came up with this wild artwork! I know most are hooked on the frame design (by Victor), but I have always liked these bikes because of the Chainguard Art! There are NO other muscle bikes like them.
Lately I have only kept a few of these real oddball versions. When I saw this one years ago was sold to JB in Conn, I drove 200 mi up there to get it asap! I had to trade one of my rarest bikes but now that I have it cleaned up I think I like it even more! It is all original, frame paint, tires, cables and all! Far from perfect but real nice for one of these! I replaced the seat with the same better one and added the nos redline pedals. The only thing it is missing is a red glitter sissbar pad which I have searched for for 10 years! (Eddie knows how had they are to come by) The chainguard gold was pretty worn as was the devil, the "thunderball" logo and white stripe I managed to save and repainted the gold carefully. The Devil is a decal I made from what was left of the orig and a pic I had of Jacks bike after I colored it in. It is exactly like the original and I am very happy with it. I will be taking it out for Halloween this year for sure! Oh and Eddie thanks for posting it with ALL your nice bikes too! Leo ![]() |

Boy what a great stance on those bikes, this was progressive design at its best.
