It is in pieces now and I am still gathering parts. I have a smaller crank, new upgraded chainguard, and the tank now. I still have not decided on a seat yet. I am still need a rear 24 inch drum brake wheel. The chrome on the frame is bad in spots so I think I am going to redo the frame and tank in paint. The only thing I will be using here is the frame and forks. Everything else will be changed or removed. This is something of the way I am going with the build. (2500+) Posts: 3257 (08/27/10 21:11:20) MBF I-Patrol Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	OK Since the 24 inch rear wheel I was going to use is not working out right now I decided to mock up the bike again with a 20 inch rear wheel. I had a workman 20 inch coaster rim with heavy duty spokes. I will probably put a 3 inch tire on this rim and that will give me some more height. I have the western flyer front tire mounted now. I put the tank on. It has no lights in it so I blanked out the space with some carbon fiber laminate. The chrome on the frame & fork is not good overall so I am going to strip it and paint it. I am going to have to cut a seat and make it longer. I am going to drill out the rear dropouts so the sissybar can mount back farther. I have smaler crank arms for it. The chainguard now has a paper insert which I plan to upgrade to painted metal. Here are some new pics.

I put new handlebars and gooseneck on. I changed the seat post position on the seat. I am not real happy with the way the seat is going. I think I might have to cut and extend a seat. I want to use a 24 inch 3 speed wheel but I need it to have a drum or coaster brake. I might have to go with a new set up to get this option. I am not sure on the colors yet either. I want the tank to be a different color then the frame. It will be some kind of candy job. The next mock up has to be the finished model. Hey I am trying LOL

I bought the 22 inch seat I need to make that part look right. I got some Blue Magic and started cleaning the chrome on the frame. It is working pretty good but it won't be perfect. I am going to paint the tank soon probably Red. I made a sissybar from 2 of them I just bought on here. That will get painted too. Here is a picture of the sissybar...All 6 foot 7 inches.

I will use a 20 inch wheel too and a few other combo's LOL Wow I almost have the full mockup. Here are the Wheels 3 speed coaster brake

It has lots of rust spots but I am just leaving it like this for now. It still shines nice. I got a cool decal to cut up and use in a few places. I am still waiting on the seat and wheels. Here are a few pics of what I have done.

Use about 2 TBL/45 gallons of water. Let it sit for about 4 hours in a tub. You will be amazed at what it will do. Will NOT hurt decals or paint but will eat the rust away. I know where one of these bikes is. Guess I might need to go and get it because I love the look so far. It is a complete and in chrome.

I'm still waiting on the gear changer,sprocket,shifter. I need to put the chain on and some little touch ups here and there. I am going to change the chainguard insert from orange to red like the bike. I scraped the 6'7" sissybar for somethng more reasonable. Hope You Like It.!!

You have some cool stuff but so does everyone. Even though I didn't have the sprocket, chain or brakes I took it for a coaster ride down my lawn to the road and down the road.
