Wanted: Huffy Rail or Huffy Rail frame in restorable condition |
Lead | |
|
Had a Huffy Rail and Huffy Wheel when I was a kid. Would like to find either one or just the frame of one to build a non NOS bike. Loved the 20" streched frame and would like to build a cruiser from this model bike, thanks, Mark

I have been thinking about parting with one of mine, I will keep you posted. Good luck on the search, what colors where your bikes?

The rail was a gold color, the wheel was a blue with matching metal flake steering wheel/ seat etc. Stingrayjoe has a nice purple frame and need to see if it's still available, Thanks, Mark

TheFizzer wrote:I thought about it but it appeared to be to much work. The Rail has the 3 bar system up front near the neck of the bike, this green bike only had 2 bars. I did pick up a purple rail frame and fork set up as a back up in case I can't find a complete clean rail. I'm thinking of finding piece by piece for now until I talk to Ron about his. |

The 3 bar frame was 1969 and older, the 2 bar frame started in 1970 on the Rails.
