ZERWHAT looking for some parts for her Stingray |
Lead | |
|
She emailed me and asked if I had any of this and was surprised that nobody here had any of it. I told her the want section was a little slower, so I would try this. She is looking for a Kick stand, fenders, reflectors, and a wide tread slick.(not the gripper slick) Just contact her or let her know if you have any of this for sale!

zurwhat wrote:Thats a crappy pic of the buzz bike. The other pics I saw are better, and did these come out with a shifter grip on them. One of the pics I saw looked like it had the shifter grip like I have seen on the Mark V bikes? |

That Miss Buzzbike looks like a 24" Huffy made 3 speed. Would probably fit you well. I love riding the 24" bikes. So much more comfortable.

In one of the pics I saw what looks like the grip you shift with on the right, and I also saw where it looked like it was supposed to hook up to the wheel.(Neither the grip or the hook up the hub were real clear in the pics) |

I really think the rust will clean up, your real problem would be getting the gears all hooked back up and working right. If you really like the bike I think it is worth the $40 but may cost you a little to let a shop get the gears going for you.

There are quite a few of the grip shifters on ebay. Just do a search using the word Shimano 3 speed. Can't give an opinion on the rust. Definitely too small of a pic. I have cleaned up worse. Sounds like something I would buy for the price.

zerwhat the bike on cl seems like a good deal parts alone . long as it is less than a 2 hour drive. like the other guys said it just take a little to make it a cruiser.

i updated pics (ones that say July 26th of front wheel of schwinn i attempted to fix) my conclusion haha that the discs that screw onto main axle are bent causing whole wheel to wobble?! not sure if these pics make any sense at all?! http://zurwhat.classicmus...com/album/view/aid/30082 |
