We are working on having our flyer made, so if you would like one emailed to you please send me your email address to dan@stlmusclebikes.com We have also added a custom bike class to the show. Compete for nice size trophies. Trophies awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. The swap meet is getting bigger and bigger every year. Last year we had over 30 vendors and it rained most of the day. Bicycle-o-holic! (25+ Posts) Posts: 196 (06/17/10 13:55:13) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	How are the customers? I made a mistake of going to the Collinsville swap and the buyers were all roadies. Mostly spandex water bottle buyers. Didn't even recoop my swap fee let alone gas etc..

We were with them for several years but the $60 swap space was too expensive. Now we have teamed up with the Horseless Carriage Car Club and the swap spaces are $20 for 2 standard parking spaces. (paved parking spaces) The Custom Bicycle Class is open to any year bicycle that has been customized. There is alot going on this day, car show, car swap meet, classic bike show, bike swap meet, food and drinks. It will be held at the same location as last year, Queeny Park located west of St. Louis in St. Louis County. Very nice area and the park has great paved riding trails. The Horseless Carriage Club and the St. Louis Classic Bike Show were pretty mad. Even though the weather was bad we still had alot of people show up. I know some people went to Mcdonalds and brought us food. Actually Ron that is a great idea. You could cook all of us hot dogs and we would gladly pay you. Lets hope the weather is sunny on september 19th. Dan

Is this a Schwinn category only? Some people think a Sting Ray is any banana seat bike with ape handlebars. If so and I'm thinking it may be too late can there be a category for any muscle bike? Huffy Rail, Slingshot, Murray mark ll, Sears Screamer etc. You have some of the best (if not the best)Fastback Sting Rays I have ever seen, but it would also be cool to see if Eddie or Ron would bring a couple of their Murray Mark ll or a wheel bike. Ron could even bring his world famous Huffy penguin (first production high rise bike) Just my own thought Dave T

The flyers have been printed and I did not catch the mistake. I guess since I am mostly a Schwinn collector I just passed over it. So the "Stingray" class is actually open to all Muscle bikes.
