How do you remove your pedals? This is a question I get all the time and something I do not think about when I do it. I am going to make a video I think, lol

I think a 9/16" wrench works well too! Counter clockwise!

Ron did you ever get that Pedal off of the Screamer Crank/ Chain ring i brought over to you?.. That is the only one I had never been able to remove.

first, a LONG pedal wrench helps. Bikeshops have them specifially for pedals. (or look on eBay or Amazon) Long and skinny enough to fit between the pedals and the cranks. Sometimes a large (12") adjustable wrench works, but usually too wide.
The easy part: If you have the bike on a stand, you pedal FORWARD to get them off and BACKpedal to thread them on. It's all about leverage. I've never had to use a blowtorch yet. |

always use the correct tools for the job and your life will be much easier, i have all the bicycle tools needed for new bikes, vintage bikes and even some obscure tools made for the stranger stuff
