It even has a 1/4 scale working Conley V8 engine. I stumbled on the videos over the weekend, so I saved a playlist. The guy must be some type of engineer or something. He is very detail oriented, wants everything as accurate as possible. Probably has spent at least 10 grand over the last couple years building this RC replica. He is not done yet, so more videos are coming. Yeah, I just found this but it looks like he started posting project updates in June 2007 so it could still be several months before it is actually finished. The most recent update is Part 14, which was just posted last week. That's why I subscribed, to catch the new updates. I can't imagine how much this has cost him so far, I mean the engine alone is nearly $6000. Then he made his own vacuum-forming machine and bought all of the powder coating equipment. Interesting how he was powder coating like a painter sprays paint, I believe it should be a steady stream of powder flowing out - not little spurts. Well, it got the job done. Still not running, I think he is working on the brakes next.
