I like the fact that now we know for certain that Viktor Schreckengost Did design the Eliminator bikes. and even the Sears screamer..Its funny that the
Original Ads for the screamer say it was designed by a real race car driver...lol

Kenny, I just bought a 8-6476 spectra mens 26 astro blue (looks just like it too only rusty lol ) for $5 only reason I bought was
had a schwinn speedometer on it. I was wondering what year it was now I know very cool !

ok did anyone other than me notice the 3pc cranks on the 8-7170 racer i dont recall ever seeing a murray with cottered cranks before |

I didn't notice that! And to think that I recently threw away a lugged frame with that exact crank and sprocket set up. I'll almost bet it was one of
Murrays imported bikes at that time. Kenny.
