ron .. you forget to tell them that the pen needs to be non enamel tire will never dry use an arcrilic pen only been doing this on lg scale models
and bikes for 20 years ..

Thanks for that tip chopperman.I was going to go and buy one soon to restripe a tire.I have tried a paint marker In the past and It just wouldn't do much
on the black.It must have been enamal.Kenny.

Yeah and please do not try a Marker, these have paint in them, and it flows out nicely. Sometimes you have to do 3-4 coats for it to look uniform.

i do them in white with a paint pen then a couple coats of the color you want the next day, seems to get better coverage that way (im a painter by trade and its all about coverage)

Eccles, I had my girlfriend paint the tire stripe white first a couple of coats then the next day paint the red. It really makes the red stripe POP. Thanks for the Tip.!!......Jaxon

this is what i do, red pin stripe, if you just pinstripe in the groove where the stripe should be it comes out great. and its easy to replace if it peals up unlike if the pain cracks then you have to get rid of the flakes and re paint.
