Raleigh Chopper question

Training Wheels! Posts: 21 (09/17/11 20:38:16) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	I recently came across a light blue chopper. i think the guy believes it is a 71. I have never seen the blue before on a boys bike. I have only see it on the girls version with a white seat. BTW, this one has a black seat. Anyway, it is a 3 speed, missing the knob, redline tire in the back, well worn, seat actually looks good. missing the chain guard. Little rust but overall the bike is well used. Oh yeah, cracked frame near the seat springs. I am not into choppers, and overall i am ready to pass. but the color is grabbing me. I can puts pics in a few but in the meantime what does everyone think. Is this blue rare? somehow i got the pics into my profile. check them out Last Edited By: mike w 09/17/11 20:47:25. (Its easy to fix most of the time) .. The chain guard color is very hard to find unless you make it ..Its usually is a body shop color & not a rattle can color.

Posts: 21 (09/18/11 16:56:51) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	I picked it up today and it will be lugging it to trexlertown for sale. it came to me in a trade package deal. i did find it good looking in that color. thanks for all the responses. i assumed that all muscle bike guys would be really up on these. i think we have yet another clique in the hobby. me, i am a schwinn guy but i do own a couple of sears bikes. and i automatically lumper the raleigh in with this muscle bike crowd, now i am thinking that is not the case it seems like choppers are in a whole other group. thanks again.
