I just picked this up.Have a long way to go though.I believe it is a late 71 early 72 F1.The second digit in the serial that would represent the year is
blank.It has a blue and yellow fade that would normally be seen on a 72 bike,but the rear fender is for a 71 and down.The 72 rear fender is shorter and
doesn't have fender stays(braces).I don't have a correct deep Troxel seat for it,but the seat that I installed does match the bike.Kenny. |

I saw that bike on the bay. I think that is definitely one of the cooler girl muscle bikes that I have seen because it looks like a muscle bike, not a watered
down version of a boys bike.

Just traded for this and some new parts, hpe to make it a keeper. The bikes a 1969 and a one year only because it came with a drag brake and 3 speed in 69
only. Coolness!

Rollfast built and sold by Montgomery Ward, this 24x16" 5 speed is called "The Springer". One of my favorites circa 1970.
