1 Crazy Bicycle Collecting Mo-Fo! (2500+) Posts: 3251 (02/06/12 21:09:51) MBF I-Patrol Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	I got 2 set of top fueler forks welded up today. They came out pretty good. Just a few minor tweeks needed. I was worried the welding blue would not come off but it polished right off with compound and a sisal wheel. The top plates were cut wrong but more are on the way. Here are a few pics of them.

To get them to this level takes a lot of time. I might be able to polish a set in a day. The plates take the most time. 6 different sanding belts and 2 polishing wheels. After they are welded another hour to repolish them. Probably in the 300 to 400 dollars range polished.

This has been over a year and a half making these...lol I thought it was only 5 pieces of metal how hard could it be...lol I still need to find a bender to get the fork tubes perfect.

I will make a set like that too. Another member wants me to make these and I will make a set for myself too. These look like the whiz kid fork tubes in the top fueler fork plates.
