There are a tone of factory fades out there. The only way to sample odd colors it to photo shop them.

I'm really digging your ideas. So far my favorite is purple & orange. How about trying the pink with something besides coppertone? They are no where near brown in person. More of a Fire orange. I kind of like the Green with bronze fade. Its just wild looking. I am thinking Red may work better with the green though.

I collect those psychedelic rock posters from the sixties so I'm all about the wild color combinations. The best artist for vibrating colors is Victor Moscoso. Posts: 299 (12/30/11 16:04:27) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	Speaking of psychedelic fades, here's a 1/8 scale model car I was working on right before I got pulled into the world of muscle bikes last February. That "fade" is a direct steal from Victor Moscoso. You can see the same technique on some of his posters. I did it with little stick-on plastic stars which I then peeled off with an X-Acto. it didn't work perfectly, but I became obsessed with bikes and never went back to touch up the paint and finish the kit.
