I wish I hadn't sold it, but like a dumb a$$ I sold it at the Indy swap meet about 5-6 years ago.

I love the way it looks and i have plans to make it a bike i can actually ride on group rides. My big question is, if i repaint it will i be shooting myself in the foot and killing a super rare bird.

Just keep in mind we all have done things such as repaint a rare bike and later regretted it. Just think it through and I am sure you will figure it out. You could always buy something else to repaint and kustom.

I could achieve the same look without a repaint of the frame. What I will do is strip it of all the original parts and box em up. Most of them are not good for my intended use due to age. Put on all the parts that fit my vision and rock it. When I am done I can return it back to it's original state. no rare bikes were harmed making this custom.

Cant be more then 10 of them around so I would keep it original, but thats just me. I could have got the bike last week as I am not far away but just dont have room for a 26"er right now. Its a kool bike either way! good luck it!
