It is funny, when I first started to think Iverson I searched the internet and found just a few exhaust pipe Drag Strippers, and maybe a few Road Runners. Now there is a lot more info, and pictures of these bikes around. I hope to eventually have 10 or more pictures of each model saved on here for reference.

Iverson wasn't afraid to take chances on design, I like what bikes like the Dragstrippers, Yellow Birds, Kustom Draggers, Mini Indies, and Rogues represent - they were a real mirror of the times they were built in. Thank you Stelber Manufacturing.

I hope to add to the Iverson collection over time. I think a person could collect them for 10 years and maybe still only have 5 good bikes.

Yes would make a nice custom but I can tell you I owned two green ones and a purple one and have seen about three others in the last 10 years. Cant be more then 10 of them around so I would keep it original, but thats just me. I could have got the bike last week as I am not far away but just dont have room for a 26"er right now. Its a kool bike either way! good luck it!

Ok if it is a legit rare bird I wouldn't want to ruin it with a custom paint job. I could achieve the same look without a repaint of the frame. What I will do is strip it of all the original parts and box em up. Most of them are not good for my intended use due to age. Put on all the parts that fit my vision and rock it. When I am done I can return it back to it's original state. no rare bikes were harmed making this custom.

There are only a couple known to exist, but your right as owner means you can make the decision. Just keep in mind we all have done things such as repaint a rare bike and later regretted it. Just think it through and I am sure you will figure it out. You could always buy something else to repaint and kustom.

i love the color. a refresh with a glitter clear. I try to adhere to the "it's only original once" rule, but sometimes that gets in the way.

I Wouldnt repaint it, looks to be in good condition. But if you dont like the color, then it's up to you.

Add my 26" to the list

i know these are the ugly duckling of the bunch. I love the way it looks and i have plans to make it a bike i can actually ride on group rides. My big question is, if i repaint it will i be shooting myself in the foot and killing a super rare bird.
